Dejan Grujic, MD

BIO

Dr. Dejan Grujic joined the anesthesiology department at Aspen Valley Health in 2022. Dr. Grujic has practiced anesthesiology for more than 10 years with a special interest in trauma and regional anesthesia. He spent 11 years practicing in Trenton, New Jersey, where he gained experience in a busy and fast-moving inner-city trauma center, as well as at a suburban hospital specializing in high-volume obstetrics and complex GI surgery. After graduating from Cornell University, Dr. Grujic studied medicine at St. George’s University in Grenada, graduating in 2005. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia in 2011. Dr. Grujic is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is the recipient of multiple teaching awards for work with medical students, residents, CRNA students, as well as special forces medics for the U.S. Army and Navy. Dr. Grujic and his wife were drawn to Aspen by the dynamic, hard-working community that values a healthy, active lifestyle. They are grateful for the chance to raise their kids in the Roaring Fork Valley, and see them grow into adults who are confident in academics, sports and the outdoors.
