Edward Wiese, MD

Dr. Edward Wiese joined the Aspen Valley Primary Care practice in 2019. A Canadian, Dr. Wiese received his BS degree in Microbial Biology from the University of Calgary in Alberta and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Western Ontario. He is board certified in Internal Medicine in both Canada and the United States. Prior to moving to the Roaring Fork Valley, he spent 20 years practicing Internal Medicine at a multi-specialty clinic in Northeastern Ohio that is affiliated with the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Wiese’s experience over the years has been primarily with elderly patients and those who have multiple medical conditions. In recent years he has been evolving his focus to add preventative care and population health management to his work. In 2021, Dr. Wiese was appointed as Medical Director of Whitcomb Terrace where his expertise and experience benefit the wellbeing of the residents. Dr. Wiese is excited to be back living in the mountains, which were part of his childhood growing up in Canada, and exploring the wild lands of Colorado and Utah.
