Bio

Paula Kadison, MD is a board certified specialist in Internal Medicine.  She diagnoses and treats people with acute minor illness to complex medical conditions.  She is passionate about prevention and personalized medicine.

Dr. Kadison spent over 10 years training and practicing at the Duke University School of Medicine in both general medicine and autoimmune disease, then in cancer medicine and bone marrow transplantation at the Massachusetts General Hospital.

While in Boston, she was cofounder, President and Chief Medical Officer of the company Medical Scientists, which created risk assessments for cardiovascular disease and cancer, generated algorithms for expert decision support systems, and analyzed population-based risk.

Dr. Kadison enjoys helping patients with any medical issue but is especially interested in cardiovascular and cancer disease screening and prevention, the special needs of cancer survivors, exercise and high-altitude physiology, and autoimmune/rheumatologic disease.

Dr. Kadison has been in clinical practice in Aspen for more than eight years. She sees patients at Kadison Medical Group. She is also on staff at Aspen Valley Health and a member of the Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado Medical School, collaborating with faculty and teaching medical students in her practice.
