Colonoscopy

A colonoscopy is the gold standard for colorectal cancer screening and the most effective tool for detecting polyps before they become a problem. The procedure is performed while you are comfortably sedated and typically takes less than an hour.

If you are 45 or older, or younger with a family history of colorectal disease, talk to your provider about scheduling yours.
