Care When You Need It Most

Supporting Your Vibrant Life

Don’t let life’s surprises get in the way of making the most of every moment. Our After-Hours Medical Care clinic in Basalt provides convenient, compassionate and cost-effective services for non-life-threatening emergencies without a visit to the emergency department. With board-certified physicians on staff 7 days a week, we offer the expert attention you have come to expect from Aspen Valley Health.

After-Hours Medical Care does not replace your Primary Care physician and does not offer physical exams or routine medical care. We are not an emergency facility that treats life-threatening conditions. Our clinic is a walk-in facility owned, operated and billed as an outpatient department of Aspen Valley Health.

Staff were helpful and kind. So nice to have them especially as many incidents seem to happen on weekends and evening!

My dog was attacked by an abused pound dog who tried to kill her. Through the professionalism and quick response of aspen animal hospital and the emergency team she made it the night but not out of the woods. This happened on private prop...erty and the dog has attacked before. My dog is 15 and small. The bigger dog viciously attacked her. This dog was not on a lease or muzzled even though it was dangerous. I am putting it out there that if you run a puppy mill, breeding scam or abused animals you are not worth being on this earth. Your actions are evil and you should have the same treatment done to you because once that abused animal is rescued it affects us all. I am making it my mission to find the people who do this and stop them. For Sadie Xo Read More

Went in with eye irritation from a steel filing lodged in my eye. Able to be seen promptly. Receptionist was helpful and friendly, the nurse who took my vitals also very competent, friendly, conversational, and down to earth. Dr. Seymour ...was so respectful, told me exactly what he saw as the problem, described what he was going to do, was careful and focused, and after a few tries at getting this "foreign object" out of my eye decided to refer me to a specialist, who I was able to see the following morning. I have the greatest respect for his decision as he said an ophthalmology practice would have more advanced and appropriate equipment to remove the filing, which they did. I would give this service, these clinicians, and my experience an A++. So Glad they were there when I needed them. Read More
