Even more challenging is finding a specialist who offers pain management services. Aspen Valley Health offers a comprehensive program designed to serve the pain management needs of residents of the valley and outlying regions.
Using a multidisciplinary approach, The Pain Center cares for a variety of chronic pain patients, including those suffering from lower back pain, neuropathies, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, migraines and sports-related injuries. The center also benefits cancer and hospice patients.
The Pain Center integrates a team of professionals, including primary care physicians, mental health workers, physical therapists, and other complementary providers. Together, the team utilizes a variety of approaches to pain management.
“This comprehensive approach to treatment is important because it increases the chances of a patient’s improvement,” says Giora Hahn, MD, Director of The Pain Center. “There is simply no one way of dealing with pain. Our team of experts works closely with patients to find the most effective techniques in each individual case. Our ultimate goal is to lessen, or if possible, cure the pain and help to improve our patient’s quality of life.”
